For Givers

Feeling Blessed is an app that enables you to give whenever you have an “Alhamdulillah” moment. It encourages sharing blessings, even small ones, whenever gratitude is felt. The team operates virtually from Austin, Texas. Contact: support@feelingblessed.org.

Unlike other platforms, Feeling Blessed only accepts donations for registered, pre-vetted nonprofits, removing uncertainty for donors. The app empowers you to decide when, how much, and to whom to give, instantly, especially when you're feeling blessed. It leverages technology to simplify giving and amplify the positive impact within the Muslim community.

Yes. Many campaigns and nonprofits are Zakat-eligible, and charities can even route these funds to dedicated Zakat accounts for proper use.

Security is paramount. All payment data is processed via Stripe and PayPal (both are PCI Level 1 compliant, which is the highest level of compliance), so your financial information never touches Feeling Blessed’s servers. Communications are secured over HTTPS. Unintended donations are refunded immediately. For issues with online payments, contact support@feelingblessed.org.

  • In Canada, donations to CRA-registered nonprofits via Feeling Blessed are not tax-deductible; you must contact the charity directly for a CRA-compliant receipt.
  • Donations to UK-registered charities made through Feeling Blessed may be eligible for tax relief, but Feeling Blessed receipts are not considered official tax receipts under HMRC guidelines. If you require a receipt for tax filing or documentation purposes, please contact the charity directly to request an official receipt or confirmation of donation.

Nonprofits register and connect their bank accounts. Your payments, whether by card or bank transfer, are processed via Stripe or PayPal and deposited directly to the nonprofit.

If you opt to include fees, 100% of your donation goes to the nonprofit. Each nonprofit determines how the funds are allocated.

Under this plan, you don't select the charities. You just specify the amount to be donated daily for 10 or more days. We disburse your donations to a different nonprofit daily and send you the donation receipt for each charity. The feature can be used for giving during Ramadan. You can either give automated daily donations on the 10 best nights or for all 30 days. Similarly, you can donate every day on the 10 best days of Dhul Hijjah.
